Founder - Vian Jiawook
Re:Sight was founded by Vian, a mother of a blind son with rare condition and complex needs.
Vian Says "I recognised the needs of a special activities day centre that specialises for visually impaired / blind adults with complex needs in West Sussex, I was driven by this vision, I established this service focusing on providing a safe, meaningful, opportunities and support for adults that fall under this criteria".
After successfully setting up the centre; Vian returned to her career as a hairdresser, Leaving behind strong foundation that continues to benefit those who attend Re:Sight and their families/ carers.
Director - Tela Jiawook-Brooks
I serve as Director of Re:Sight, a family‑run day centre founded in response to my brother’s need for a nurturing and inclusive environment. Guided by my nursing values, I’m committed to supporting a service that empowers blind and visually impaired people to connect, grow, and thrive.
Day Activity Centre Manager - Tenia Finlayson
Tenia Finlayson has been managing Re:Sight since 2022, and thrives on the day to day attention and care required to foster and maintain a happy and healthy environment.
